DITA for ALL!

Create, Collaborate, Share – without Complexity

DITA for ALL – Create, Collaborate, Share without Complexity

Hands-on, real samples, and in under an hour? You bet. Structured authoring and DITA so you can “just write, review, and publish.” And in under an hour, in a repeatable workflow, you can duplicate. Is that really possible? Can you go from zero to hero in an hour? Maybe not. But in an hour, we can discuss and demo the things you can start to think about, and we can show you a sample of these things in action.

Plan your content and create DITA from scratch? Sure, we’ve got that. Content reuse? It’s complex to plan and to think about, and it should be. Still, once you know what you want, we can show you how easy it can be to reuse those warnings and cautions, or entire topics, and do so across publications. Once you have your content in DITA, what about publishing? The toolkit looks pretty code intensive (it is), but we’ve got FrameMaker and a visual approach to change the appearance and make it look like your template. In about an hour, we’ll show you what can be planned and, once implemented, make what you do look like magic but run like clockwork. Plan it, do it.

  • The basics of DITA (maps, topics, reuse, the end) to get you started in 5 minutes
  • Create your own content after the webinar with our DITA content development demo (create content as a task, concept, reference, and map) in 10 minutes
  • Basics of reuse in 10 minutes, including a reused note and custom content for more than one audience
  • Generate and publish as PDF and HTML5 in 10 minutes
  • Customize PDF and HTML5 in 15 minutes
  • Load it all to a CCMS in 10 minutes
  • Next steps you can do yourself, and where and how we can help!
