How strong are long tail titles for SEO?

Even if you do earn some traffic and leads from short-tail keywords, they’re likely less than what you’d earn by focusing on long-tail SEO. Studies prove it too, with long-tail keywords offering a conversion rate of more than 35 percent. There is not ONE single right answer to your question, or, to almost any specific SEO “keyword” question like yours. The ‘strength’ of a long tail keyword ( your phrasing: Long Tail Title ) in you question depends on many factors. The industry you are in. The uniqueness or commonality of your product. The market place you are trying to penetrate. The digital strength and presence of your competitors. and more … So, anything I suggest may or may not help answer your question based on that. I understand things best based upon examples. You’ll have to apply my example to the factors that impact your product in your market and your potential clients. I am in the automotive industry. Clearly, if I focused my keywords on “new cars” the competition nationwide, regionally, and even locally is going to be HUGE for “new cars”. Therefore, I would not stand out – I would not be very unique if I targeted (solely) “new cars”. Cars are, TYPICALLY, local in terms of buyers. Google places cars / automotive under their LOCAL umbrella. It’s a big umbrella because there is roughly a population of 1,000,000 in my marketplace. There are SCORES of new car dealerships within a radius of 50 miles. Add to that HUNDREDS of used car dealerships that, rest assured, they are going to be advertising “new cars’ in their digital copy and SEO efforts too. So hundreds of businesses all competing for some fraction of 1,000,000 peoples attention. If my dealership sells, let’s say, New Honda vehicles. I have 5 direct Honda competitors. Rest assured, all the Toyota Dealers, Nissan Dealers, Hyundai Dealers, Kia Dealers etc. etc. are directly competing against me for “new cars” and even direct digital campaigns targeting “New Hondas” in my marketplace. Painting that picture, targeting (only ) ‘new cars’ in my geographic (LOCAL) marketplace, not to saying it’s worthless …some $$
